Child Care Registration Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate community resources and act as a liaison between providers, agencies, and the public
• Supervise Registrars and support staff performing registration and licensing activities
• Conduct final reviews of applications and make recommendations for registration or licensure
• Oversee daily communication with child care providers regarding health and safety compliance
• Tabulate and submit required reports to office leadership
• Make presentations at community meetings and health fairs to promote licensed providers

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience, OR
• High school diploma and six years of community work experience
• At least one year of experience in community-centered activities
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of child care regulations
• Experience with data entry and querying large datasets
