Child Care Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, homestyle meals and snacks for children ranging from infancy to school-age
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of food processing and safety protocols
• Operate standard and commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain the highest standards of food and kitchen hygiene to ensure a clean and safe environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated experience in food service (experience in a childcare setting is preferred)
• Knowledge of food safety and ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
• Successful completion of all state-required background checks
