Child Care Capacity Building Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of statewide child care capacity-building initiatives across Nevada.
• Supervise regional and state-wide coordinators, program specialists, and external consultants.
• Manage program operations, including budget monitoring, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Analyze program performance data and service trends to inform continuous improvement strategies.
• Provide oversight to staff delivering support to childcare providers throughout their business lifecycle.
• Deliver employer childcare consultation services and connect partners to regulatory and community resources.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, employers, and community organizations.
• Represent the agency in statewide discussions to reduce regulatory and systemic barriers to care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience supporting child and family services.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in program or project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, chart creation) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong data analysis and performance monitoring skills.
• Valid Nevada driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel statewide and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to pass a complete background check.
