Chief Technology Officer/Head of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology vision to transform the B2C insurance experience in alignment with business and regulatory goals
• Lead the evolution of digital platforms across web and mobile applications
• Drive cloud-native architecture strategy and platform scalability
• Envision and implement AI adoption across development and user experience
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
• Establish a unified data foundation to support reporting, regulatory submissions, and decision-making
• Own the company's cybersecurity strategy, IT governance, and technology risk management
• Build and mentor a high-performance engineering culture across FE, BE, QA, SRE, and Data teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
• Proven experience in insurance, fintech, or financial services
• Deep understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Strong track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations
• Excellent communication and people management skills, with a focus on coaching and stakeholder management
