Responsibilities

• Own the overall technical architecture and technology roadmap across all trading systems and infrastructure
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance to engineering teams including market data, trading systems, and DevOps
• Ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and built to institutional-grade reliability standards
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies like AI/ML and modern data infrastructure
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Manage and grow engineering teams in Bengaluru and Kerala
• Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent
• Coordinate with global teams across US, London, and Singapore offices

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership/management experience
• Deep expertise in C++ is non-negotiable
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput, or mission-critical systems
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams
• Strong communication skills for C-level interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with electronic/algorithmic trading systems (market data, order management, FIX protocol)
• Familiarity with quantitative trading workflows
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and containerization
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies
