Chief Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the surveying team in conducting all land and construction surveys for infrastructure projects
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise surveying tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Provide technical guidance on surveying methods, procedures, and equipment usage
• Review and validate survey data, drawings, and reports for compliance and accuracy
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate survey data into project workflows
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety procedures
• Manage survey equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
• Report on project progress, survey findings, and any issues requiring resolution
• Train and mentor junior surveyors and support staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction and land surveying
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS
• Proven experience working within PMC/PMO or Consultant Companies
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, and software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
