Chief Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Lead global, enterprise-wide security programs and scale mitigation strategies to address evolving risks
• Develop and implement strategy, governance, and practices for physical security, security operations, and threat management
• Serve as the senior most incident commander and crisis manager for security-related incidents
• Strategically attract, retain, and develop security talent through proactive succession planning
• Deliver leadership and accountability to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
• Maintain strategic engagement with government contacts, law enforcement, and industry partners
• Partner with Legal and People Experience teams to conduct security investigations
• Oversee the global security budget, including staffing and capital expenditures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military
• At least 5 years of corporate security leadership experience
• Proven experience managing global security operations for multinational enterprises
• Demonstrated expertise in executive protection and VIP security program management
• Strong background in risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Willingness to work irregular hours to handle emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Law enforcement or intelligence background
• Professional certifications such as CPP, CBCP, or ITPM
• Eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance
