Chief Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the long-term procurement vision and strategy across all business units.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and COO to align procurement decisions with financial and operational goals.
• Oversee procurement planning, purchasing operations, and contract management across all vendor categories.
• Lead inventory forecasting and stock-level management using data analytics and AI-driven tools.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate high-impact contracts.
• Develop procurement governance frameworks to ensure adherence to ethical, financial, and legal standards.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical and operational challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 4+ years of senior-level experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proven success developing procurement strategies in a high-growth or e-commerce environment.
• Strong negotiation, financial, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and advanced forecasting tools.
• Deep understanding of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing standards.
