About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of utility service entrances, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators
  • Ensure continuous uptime and redundancy performance (N+1, 2N, or higher)
  • Lead electrical switching procedures, outage planning, and emergency response activities
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mission-critical electrical systems
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical and power-related incidents
  • Review electrical designs for expansions, retrofits, and new deployments
  • Lead and mentor power engineers, technicians, and critical facilities operators
  • Optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and support sustainability initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field
  • 8–15+ years of experience in data center facilities engineering or mission-critical operations
  • Experience managing medium- and high-voltage systems (10kV–36kV)
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, protective relaying, and UPS topologies
  • Experience with SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems
  • Knowledge of Finnish electrical safety regulations and SFS standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tier III or Tier IV environments
  • Experience working within European or Nordic regulatory environments
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or European equivalent certification
  • Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or DCCA/DCCP
  • Licensed High Voltage Switching Operator
