About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to the President on institutional strategy, organizational design, and executive decision-making.
- Drive the implementation and monitoring of the University’s strategic plan and presidential priorities.
- Coordinate Cabinet operations, including agenda development, executive briefings, and action tracking.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of Board of Trustees and committee materials.
- Lead cross-functional institutional initiatives related to enrollment growth, student success, and operational effectiveness.
- Act as a primary liaison between the President’s Office, the Office of the Provost, Vice Presidents, and the Board of Trustees.
- Manage sensitive institutional matters and crisis management coordination with high discretion.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in higher education or complex mission-driven organizations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership and board governance processes.
- Strong strategic thinking skills combined with disciplined operational execution.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and institutional judgment.

- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working within shared governance and accreditation environments.
- Strong political acumen and stakeholder engagement capability.
