About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to the President on institutional strategy, organizational design, and executive decision-making.
  • Drive the implementation and monitoring of the University’s strategic plan and presidential priorities.
  • Coordinate Cabinet operations, including agenda development, executive briefings, and action tracking.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of Board of Trustees and committee materials.
  • Lead cross-functional institutional initiatives related to enrollment growth, student success, and operational effectiveness.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the President’s Office, the Office of the Provost, Vice Presidents, and the Board of Trustees.
  • Manage sensitive institutional matters and crisis management coordination with high discretion.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in higher education or complex mission-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership and board governance processes.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills combined with disciplined operational execution.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and institutional judgment.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working within shared governance and accreditation environments.
  • Strong political acumen and stakeholder engagement capability.
