Chief of Staff

Responsibilities

• Ensure the CEO’s time, priorities, and operating rhythm are aligned with the strategic needs of the organization
• Lead operating routines, including agenda setting, materials preparation, and action-item management
• Partner with Corporate Strategy to manage Quarterly Operating Reviews and synthesize insights into CEO-ready narratives and dashboards
• Shape and deliver CEO-driven internal communications, including town halls and partner messages
• Partner with the Chief Administrative Office and Corporate Secretary’s office to prepare for Board and Committee cycles
• Coordinate Board engagement logistics, including agenda sequencing and director communications

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in financial services, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparable executive-level environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate decision-ready recommendations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting narratives for the CEO and Board
• Experience in board governance and enterprise risk
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities under tight deadlines in a highly matrixed organization
• Ability to work onsite in the Chicago office 5 days per week
