Chief of Staff

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO), driving cross-functional initiatives across regulatory affairs, portfolio strategy, and R&D operations.
• Lead strategic initiatives across the Office of the CRO, including Regulatory Affairs, Portfolio Strategy & Management, R&D Business Operations, and Policy & Advocacy.
• Synthesize complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and decision-ready materials for senior executives and the Board of Directors.
• Manage the operating rhythm of the Office of the CRO by setting agendas, tracking actions, and driving cross-functional follow-through.
• Ensure alignment between regulatory strategy and operational activities across BridgeBio and its affiliates.
• Respond to urgent issues and coordinate cross-functional efforts to maintain seamless operations.

Requirements

• 3 to 6+ years of relevant business development, operations, or strategy experience within the biopharma industry.
• Familiarity with drug discovery, development, and regulatory approval processes.
• Experience working across regulatory affairs, portfolio strategy, R&D business operations, or policy and advocacy.
• Expertise in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to improve work quality and speed.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for high-level data analysis and presentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complexity.
• Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a top-tier professional services or management consulting firm.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
