About the Company

Basic Capital is building the Robinhood of 401(k)s — a modern retirement platform that gives everyday workers access to the full investment universe, including stocks, crypto, private equity, and venture capital. Based in Tribeca, NYC, we are a high-intensity, high-performance team committed to reshaping retirement and expanding access to wealth.

Responsibilities

• Own CEO execution infrastructure including meeting notes, action items, and inbox management
• Drive all follow-ups to ensure opportunities progress post-meeting
• Coordinate Series B fundraising, including diligence and investor communication
• Manage strategic partnership execution and support regulatory workflows
• Support credit facility raises and work cross-functionally with CTO, Growth, and Legal
• Build repeatable execution infrastructure across the company

Requirements

• 4–8 years of professional experience
• Investment banking experience (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, or equivalent in FIG, LevFin, or similar)
• Post-banking operating experience (Chief of Staff, BizOps, Growth, or founding team)
• Background in Financial Services or B2B environments
• Exceptional organizational and execution ability
• Ability to operate in a high-intensity, high-velocity environment
• Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Chief of Staff experience at a scaling company
• Fintech or regulated industry experience
• Experience supporting senior executives or founders
• Top-tier academic background
