Chief of Staff and VP of Strategy & Operations

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior partner to the CEO and CBO, owning the central Strategy & Operations team
• Act as a thought partner to executives, pressure-testing decisions and accelerating alignment
• Own high-stakes communications including board materials and company-wide messaging
• Lead major cross-departmental initiatives from problem definition to outcome delivery
• Shape enterprise-level strategy regarding market expansion and organizational design
• Set and uphold standards of excellence in analytical rigor and operational discipline for the S&O team
• Lead recruiting, career development, and coaching for the Strategy & Operations cohort

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience in management consulting or senior S&O/Biz Ops/Chief of Staff roles
• Proven track record in high-growth company environments
• Exceptional first-principles problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
• Strong ability to influence leadership and navigate organizational dynamics
• Demonstrated AI fluency to accelerate analysis and workflows
• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial modeling skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Based in NYC and available for hybrid work (3+ days per week in Union Square office)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, consumer lending, or payments
• Familiarity with the operating rhythms of a late-stage growth company
