Chief Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to the President and Senior Leadership team
• Provide visionary leadership across all HR functions, including talent management, total rewards, employee relations, and compliance
• Drive innovative and inclusive human resources initiatives that align with the university's mission and strategic goals
• Oversee workforce planning, training and development, performance management, and payroll
• Provide oversight for the Title IX Coordinator and related institutional responsibilities
• Lead efforts to strengthen leadership capacity, AI readiness, and employee engagement
• Develop and manage comprehensive total rewards programs and HR policies that ensure legal compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience
• SHRM certification and Workplace Investigation Specialty credential (required within the first year of employment)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience with Title IX compliance
