Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO on financial planning, growth strategy, and capital allocation
• Build and lead a high-performing finance organization
• Oversee revenue management, forecasting, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition
• Lead equity and debt fundraising processes, including VC rounds and strategic financings
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial advisors
• Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A, partnership, and strategic investment opportunities
• Own core financial operations including accounting, payroll, and statutory reporting
• Implement and scale financial systems, processes, and reporting tools

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a technology scale-up
• Proven experience leading VC-backed fundraising
• Demonstrated M&A experience including deal execution and integration
• Strong background in accounting, FP&A, and cash management
• Experience working with Boards of Directors
• Bilingualism in French and English
• Familiarity with accounting and payroll software (Xero, Wagepoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
• CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials
