About the Company

Meraki Labs is a dynamic venture studio founded by Mukesh Bansal and Peeyush Ranjan. The studio focuses on building and scaling AI-first, "moonshot" startups through a hands-on partnership model.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of funds deployed across multiple portfolio startups
• Design and implement financial frameworks, controls, and reporting standards across the portfolio
• Monitor cash flow, burn rates, and runway for each portfolio company
• Lead fund accounting, LP reporting, and compliance with fund documentation
• Drive financial planning (FP&A) for the venture studio and individual portfolio companies
• Build and maintain financial models for portfolio businesses
• Advise startup leadership on financial strategy, pricing models, and unit economics
• Ensure statutory compliance (ROC, GST, TDS, FEMA, etc.) for the studio and portfolio companies
• Oversee audits, tax planning, and regulatory filings
• Manage legal agreements, term sheets, and investment documentation

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in finance
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• CA, CPA, or MBA Finance from a reputed institution
• Deep expertise in Indian financial regulations (Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, Income Tax, GST)
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation methods
• Experience with ERP systems like Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience with venture capital, PE funds, or a venture studio
• Track record of managing finances for multiple business entities simultaneously
• Hands-on experience with startup fundraising and cap table structuring
