Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team to shape long-term financial strategy and support global growth.
• Design and scale a robust, multi-entity finance structure to manage increasing operational complexity.
• Lead capital allocation strategy, ensuring effective resource deployment across product, marketing, and geographic expansion.
• Drive advanced financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling in a high-volume trading environment.
• Oversee treasury operations, including liquidity management, multi-currency cash flows, and capital structure optimization.
• Establish a comprehensive financial risk management framework and ensure compliance with global financial regulations, AML/KYC, and tax standards.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance organization of 25+ professionals across accounting, finance, and FP&A.
• Drive financial systems optimization and process automation to enhance scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or professional certification like CPA, CFA, or ACCA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Deputy CFO, or Finance Director).
• Proven experience in fintech, brokerage, payments, or banking within regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing finance in a global, multi-entity, and multi-jurisdiction environment.
• Strong background in treasury management, liquidity planning, and multi-currency operations.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial risk management practices.
• Fluency in English and either Ukrainian or Russian.
• Willingness to relocate to and work from the Cyprus office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Comprehensive understanding of global financial markets and online trading regulations.
