Responsibilities

• Own DualEntry's financial strategy end-to-end, from daily operations to long-term capital planning
• Build and lead the finance function as a business partner to the CEO and leadership team
• Manage investor relationships and own all board and investor reporting
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks
• Oversee accounting, audit, and compliance, including GAAP reporting and tax strategy
• Architect scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and controls
• Partner with GTM teams on pricing strategy and revenue recognition
• Work with Product and Engineering on resource allocation and headcount planning
• Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities such as partnerships and M&A
• Build and develop a world-class finance team

Requirements

• 8+ years in finance, with significant experience at a high-growth technology company
• Proven experience leading a fundraise and interacting with VCs
• Deep expertise in SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and multi-entity financial operations
• Strong technical accounting foundation
• High agency and ability to define the agenda
• Exceptional communication skills for translating complex financials into clear narratives
• Operational rigor and leadership presence
• Ability to work in-office 5 days/week in New York City

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a first or early CFO at a Series A-C SaaS or fintech company
• CPA or MBA
• Familiarity with modern ERP and financial infrastructure
• Prior experience in the accounting, ERP, or fintech space
• Existing relationships with top-tier institutional investors

Benefits

• Base Salary: $250,000 - $290,000
• Equity: $100,000 - $150,000
