About the Company

Campfire is a next-gen core accounting platform built for modern mid-market finance teams. We help them close fast and scale even faster by replacing outdated legacy ERPs and manual accounting processes with automation-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial narrative and serve as a key executive voice to investors, board members, and partners
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the company
• Drive fundraising strategy, investor relations, and capital allocation decisions
• Build and scale the finance, accounting, and operations functions
• Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering leaders to inform pricing, unit economics, and growth decisions
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness
• Evaluate strategic partnerships and other corporate transactions

Requirements

• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or enterprise software
• Strong communicator capable of translating complex financial data into strategic insight
• Operator mindset with the ability to manage both high-level strategy and granular details
• Deep integrity and sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Ability to act as a product champion and ambassador

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as CFO or VP Finance at a venture-backed company
• Track record of leading fundraising rounds (Series B and beyond) or taking a company public
