Chief Financial and Administration Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the financial sustainability of the institution in conjunction with the executive team
• Oversee five key functional areas: Treasury, Controllership, Operations, Technology, and Human Resources
• Develop the IDB Invest business plan and ensure alignment with IDB Group priorities
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to Managing Directors across multiple divisions
• Spearhead resource allocation efforts to increase cost-efficiency and effectiveness
• Lead digital transformation and modernization initiatives to enhance operational agility
• Manage highly skilled, interdisciplinary, and multicultural professional teams
• Communicate strategic results and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Master's degree or MBA in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience with a proven business track record
• Extensive experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, preferably in Latin America or the Caribbean
• Expertise in capital markets, including funding, liquidity management, and derivatives
• Proven track record managing complex corporate services including treasury, accounting, and IT
• Proficiency in English and one other official language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese)
• Strong leadership skills with experience in change management and managing diverse teams
