Chief Engineer - Traffic

Responsibilities

• Study and evaluate temporary access points and major traffic diversions for metro projects
• Perform field inspections on traffic diversions and road projects and submit reports
• Issue permits for closing main roads and bridges during emergencies or maintenance
• Conduct studies for heavy transport vehicle routes
• Review plans and blueprints from consultants and engineers to ensure compliance with NOC conditions
• Coordinate with Police, government departments, and private sectors to maintain road networks
• Ensure application of public safety standards by consultants and contractors
• Adhere to information security policies and data sharing guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture
• Minimum 8 years of experience (as per title) or 2 years practical field experience (as per qualifications section)
• Experience in traffic diversion and road project management
