Chief Engineer - Traffic

Responsibilities

• Evaluate temporary access points for main streets and major traffic diversions for large metro projects in Dubai.
• Perform field inspections on traffic diversions and road projects to ensure public safety and compliance.
• Submit technical traffic reports and documentation to management regarding project status and needs.
• Issue permits for road and bridge closures during emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
• Conduct studies to determine required routes for heavy transport vehicles.
• Review plans, blueprints, and applications from consultants and engineers to ensure compliance with No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
• Coordinate with external entities, including Police and government departments, to maintain the road network.
• Collaborate with contractors and service entities to ensure the application of public safety standards during project implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Proven ability to conduct detailed field inspections.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Ability to review complex engineering blueprints and technical plans.
