Responsibilities

• Define system objective functions and translate mission needs into coherent product architectures
• Connect controls, sensing, navigation, software, propulsion, and avionics into a unified system
• Lead architecture decisions and manage technical trade-offs
• Create fast design-test-learn loops using simulation and hardware testing
• Build and lead an elite engineering team while maintaining high technical standards
• Identify high-risk areas early and design experiments to mitigate them
• Drive systems from initial concept to functional demonstrators

Requirements

• Strong academic foundation in aerospace engineering, physics, robotics, or control systems
• Deep understanding of dynamics, estimation, and controls
• Proven experience with high-dynamic or high-reliability systems through flight cycles
• Ability to work across architecture design, simulation, coding, and hands-on testing
• Experience with system trade studies and complex subsystem integration
• Solid coding and modeling skills
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
• Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on
