Responsibilities

• Shape and articulate a compelling editorial vision for the Cureus Journal of AI-Augmented Research.
• Work with an expert advisory board to evolve editorial guidelines for AI-assisted research and publishing workflows.
• Oversee end-to-end manuscript management, including AI-assisted screening, reviewer assignments, and peer review coordination.
• Make decisive judgments on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection while upholding high standards of ethics and rigor.
• Champion innovative publishing models, such as AI-assisted submissions and interactive content formats.
• Act as a global ambassador for the journal, promoting responsible AI adoption in the scientific community.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive, hands-on experience in AI-enabled research and/or digital publishing innovation.
• Proven editorial, leadership, or community-building experience.
• Exceptionally strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of scientific integrity and methodological rigor.
