Chief Digital Officer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the company’s digital strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
• Oversee digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver digital projects on time, within scope, and on budget
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for digital innovation and operational efficiency
• Establish and maintain partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and academic institutions
• Ensure cybersecurity and data governance standards are embedded across all digital platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital strategy, technology consulting, or a related leadership role
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation programs in complex organizations
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, agile methodologies, and digital product development
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy, oil and gas, or heavy industry sectors
• Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
• Familiarity with Saudi business culture and regulatory environment
