Chief Digital Officer (CDO)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the company-wide digital strategy.
• Manage and develop the central digital team and oversee strategic external partners.
• Drive the digital roadmap and optimize global platforms, including E-Commerce, CRM, and digital ecosystems.
• Establish a data-driven decision culture by advancing data governance and analytics structures.
• Identify and implement AI use cases in areas such as automation, personalization, and smart services.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Executive Board on digitalization and transformation topics.
• Support cultural change by empowering teams to adopt new digital ways of working.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Informatics, Digital Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Multi-year leadership experience in digital transformation, ideally within an international environment.
• Proven track record of leading complex digital projects that drive growth or efficiency.
• Deep understanding of platform logic, data ecosystems, CRM, MarTech, APIs, and E-Commerce.
• Strong ability to bridge the gap between Business, IT, and data experts.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
