MSF USA is one of 24 sections supporting the global movement, primarily through staff recruitment, fundraising, advocacy, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, strategic management, and leadership to implement effective fundraising operations in the US Market
• Lead a 90-person Development Department accountable for raising more than $800 million annually
• Strengthen capability and outcomes in high-touch major and legacy giving
• Sustain broad-based direct response fundraising and digital philanthropy
• Design, develop, and deliver the organization's account management strategy
• Pursue strategic opportunities to cultivate partnerships and identify new markets or donors
• Develop brand positioning based on brand strategy and implement brand plans
• Foster a culture of philanthropy across the organization

Requirements

• 15 years of progressive experience in development roles
• At least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Proven success building and managing effective fundraising organizations and exceeding revenue targets
• Experience in large, complex, and international environments
• Strategic aptitude in branding, marketing communications, and digital fluency
• Track record in implementing data-driven practices for supporter engagement
• Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Deep commitment to humanitarian action and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an international context
• Formal educational background in fundraising (e.g., CFRE Certification), business administration, or marketing
