Chief CT/XR Technologist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the Cat Scan Imaging Program and maintain departmental operations.
• Perform CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance with departmental standards and scope of practice.
• Model leadership skills and act as an owner for the organization, department, and modality.
• Assess patient information, prepare patients for procedures, and provide necessary education.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
• Utilize hospital information technology systems and equipment effectively.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all department policies, procedures, and modality-specific safety protocols.
• Actively engage in departmental, team, and committee initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an education program accredited by the JRCERT.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced CT Certification.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Licensure and certification by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
