Chief Assembly Technician Water Turbines

Responsibilities

• Oversee professional assembly monitoring and documentation for new installations, general overhauls, and repairs
• Provide technical support during the commissioning of water turbines
• Actively participate in installation, revision, and commissioning work
• Represent the company professionally to customers and sub-suppliers to maintain strong client relationships
• Provide technical and operational leadership to assigned assembly personnel
• Lead the on-site construction team in close coordination with the back office

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training (Polymechaniker EFZ or similar)
• Several years of practical experience as a Chief Assembly Technician
• Proven experience in leading people and managing projects professionally
• Valid driver's license
• Fluency in German (written and spoken)
• Willingness to work permanently on-site across Switzerland with flexible working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French, Italian, or English
