Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces)

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, and verification of complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Develop technical solutions that meet Open Mission Systems Architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure all needs, requirements, and commitments are being met.
• Present technical details to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support analyses to drive improvements in architecture and requirements definition.
• Support cross-Boeing program mission systems interchanges to maximize leverage and re-use.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the development of Mission Systems.
• 10+ years of experience in technical leadership of engineers.
• 10+ years of experience in defining system architectures.
• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in avionics, Open Architecture, and/or electronics systems development.
• Experience in Mission Systems, Radar, Fusion, and defining multi-level security architecture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience conducting engineering reviews and owning system architecture structure and design.
