About the Company
The organization is a large nonprofit Jewish provider of comprehensive senior healthcare services located in the Greater Los Angeles area. For more than a century, they have delivered compassionate, high-quality care through a continuum of services including residential living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, and community-based programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a fully integrated advancement and external engagement strategy, including a $150M capital campaign.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to develop multi-year advancement strategies and diversify the philanthropic base.
- Oversee a $16M annual fundraising goal across major gifts, planned giving, and institutional grants.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing advancement and communications team.
- Personally cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership-level and principal gift prospects.
- Ensure marketing and brand messaging support philanthropic growth and organizational visibility.
- Strengthen board engagement in philanthropy and support governance functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, nonprofit management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience in advancement or fundraising.
- Proven experience leading major capital campaigns from planning through execution.
- Demonstrated success securing six and seven-figure philanthropic commitments.
- Proven executive leadership experience mentoring teams and partnering with CEOs and Boards.
- Expertise in donor cultivation, stewardship, and data-informed fundraising practices.
- Track record of overseeing integrated marketing and communications strategies.
