Los Angeles Jewish Health (LAJH) is the largest nonprofit, single-source provider of comprehensive senior healthcare in the Greater Los Angeles area. Founded in 1912, the organization provides compassionate, high-quality care to older adults through residential living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, behavioral health, hospice, and community-based services.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to develop and execute a multi-year advancement and external relations strategy
  • Lead the launch and execution of a multi-year $150M capital campaign
  • Personally cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership-level and principal gift prospects
  • Provide strategic oversight for the $16M annual fundraising goal
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing advancement and communications team
  • Ensure marketing, communications, and brand messaging support philanthropic growth
  • Strengthen board engagement in philanthropy and recruitment
  • Manage legislative advocacy and regulatory engagement to advance policy priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, nonprofit management, or related field
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience in advancement or fundraising
  • Proven experience leading major capital campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in securing six and seven-figure philanthropic commitments
  • Proven executive leadership experience building and mentoring development teams
  • Expertise in donor cultivation, stewardship, and data-informed fundraising
  • Track record of overseeing integrated marketing and communications strategies
  • Ability to lead legislative advocacy and coalition-building
