Chief Accountant/Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, ITR, and TDS filings
• Prepare and present timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to increase efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce
• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• CA Qualification
• Experience in the logistics industry
