About the Company

Deluxe Holiday Homes is a leading holiday-home and property-management company in Dubai, managing over 700 premium short-term rentals. The wider Deluxe Homes Group operates several licensed entities, including a real-estate brokerage and joint ventures across the UAE and Armenia.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close calendar and deliver closed books on deadline across all group entities.
• Review and sign off journals, reconciliations, and the trial balance before consolidation.
• File Corporate Tax and VAT in-house accurately and on time, maintaining all necessary working papers.
• Lead the external audit process end-to-end, managing queries and delivering signed financials.
• Act as the primary point of contact for banks and the FTA regarding accounts and correspondence.
• Run the internal controls framework, including segregation of duties and payment-approval routing.
• Supervise the Senior Accountant in Dubai and the accounting team in Armenia.
• Maintain the fixed-asset register, accruals, and prepayment schedules.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience, including a senior or chief accountant role.
• Hands-on experience with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT filing.
• Expertise in month-end close, consolidation, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end audits with major firms.
• Currently a UAE resident with strong written English skills.
• Proficiency using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) for drafting, reconciling, and checking work.
• Ability to work as a decisive operator who can manage a remit independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality, real estate, or property management sectors.
• Familiarity with Guesty, ERPNext, or similar PMS/ERP finance environments.
• Experience supervising remote accounting teams.
• Background in group, multi-entity, and joint-venture accounting.
• Arabic language skills for dealing with local authorities.
