Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Professional management and supervision of accounting of economic events
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closures for the parent company
• Preparation of reports, statistics and various reports in compliance with Hungarian accounting standards
• Coordinate the preparation of tax returns until the deadline
• Professional support for management and controlling activities
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Active participation in audits and tax audits, coordination of their execution
• Liaise with authorities, external service providers, and parent company
• Contribution to the preparation of the budget and forecasting
• Responsible for the integration of subsidiaries in SGS Hungary Ltd.
• Coordination of financial colleagues

Requirements

• High education in economics or finance
• Registered chartered accountant degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance positions
• Up-to-date accounting and taxation knowledge
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Computer literacy
• IFRS certification
• Project management experience
