Chief Accountant R2R

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for assigned legal entities.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, local GAAP, and Group accounting policies.
• Prepare and coordinate statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with the Companies Act and SEBI regulations.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and regulatory audits, serving as the primary finance contact for auditors.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and internal control frameworks (IFC/SOX).
• Partner with the CFO, Company Finance Manager, and business stakeholders to provide financial insights and reporting support.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement through digital initiatives and ERP enhancements.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, and Controllership functions.
• Extensive experience in a listed company reporting environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, Companies Act, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, and statutory reporting processes.
• Advanced ERP knowledge, with a preference for SAP/S4HANA.
• Proven ability in audit management and implementing internal financial controls.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
