Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing for over 100 employees and handle related reporting via payroll providers
• Process intercompany operations, vendor invoices, and employee reports within the ERP and accounting systems
• Prepare annual income tax returns, monthly VAT declarations, and other statutory reporting
• Execute month-end and year-end management reporting
• Communicate with tax, statistics, and registration authorities regarding local reporting requirements
• Review the normative legal framework to identify impacts on company operations
• Conduct financial planning for cash flow and expenses
• Prepare and analyze annual financial statements for presentation to management

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax legislation
• Proficiency in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate level of English or higher
