Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations, payments, and receipts including AP, AR, general ledger, and P&L
• Ensure compliance with local regulations in Lebanon, KSA, UAE, France, and other jurisdictions
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Conduct monthly and year-end closing, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations
• Coordinate annual and periodic audit processes with external auditors
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation of tax returns and VAT schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for revenues and expenses
• Manage and mentor junior accountants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency with ODOO ERP system
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and internal/external audits
• Proficiency with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar certification
