Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Mentor junior accountants and review their work
• Reconcile and prepare payments to suppliers while managing supplier relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement and operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial statement preparation
• Expertise in budgeting and forecasting
• Strong skills in balance sheet reconciliation
• Experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ability to provide audit support
• Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring capabilities
