Chicken Preparation

Responsibilities

• Process and pack chicken products using hand tools and various machines such as slicers, marinade tumblers, and tenderizers
• Inspect, weigh, and prep chicken to meet specific order requirements
• Sharpen, adjust, and operate cutting and processing equipment
• Maintain proper stock levels on the production line and identify product forms by sight
• Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, USDA, and SQF procedures to ensure food safety and sanitation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in food service or a food production environment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to six hours per day)
• Ability and willingness to work in refrigerated environments (approximately 40°F)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Prior experience in food handling or food processing
• Knowledge of meat handling procedures
