Responsibilities

• Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for chess classes
• Create memorable experiences to help K-12 students develop a passion for chess
• Arrive at classes on time and prepared with daily lesson plans
• Help children understand the value and benefits of learning chess

Requirements

• Experience teaching school-age children
• Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Strong dependability and proactive attitude
• Ability to work autonomously while following clear expectations

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal teaching experience or relevant training in chess instruction
• Ability to bring unique creativity and voice to the classroom
