Chess Instructor

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach chess lessons to elementary school students in group settings
• Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
• Encourage critical thinking and application of chess principles
• Offer advanced lessons for students ready for higher skill levels
• Maintain a safe, positive, and memorable learning environment
• Ensure consistent and punctual arrival at all classes

Requirements

• Experience as a competitive chess player
• Deep experience teaching school-age children
• Proven experience leading your own classes
• Ability to provide at least two references
• Strong work ethic and a flexible, cooperative mindset
