Cherry Picker/Stand Up Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-operated or gas-powered equipment, including cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers, to transport products.
• Follow all OSHA and facility safety regulations, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as lanyards and harnesses.
• Use product scanners to perform essential functions like cycle-counts, replenishment, item inquiry, and inventory put-away.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all products are stacked neatly and safely in racks or staging locations.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, processing returns, and picking/packing customer reorders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of power equipment operation experience.
• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment (satisfactory completion of a forklift training program required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally on a daily basis.
• Proficiency with product scanners and basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a drug screen.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
