About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technical experts to identify, design, and develop innovative polymers, initially focusing on life sciences applications.
  • Refine technical specifications based on specific application requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth state-of-the-art studies and research existing solutions.
  • Identify polymer structures and propose modifications to commercial polymers where necessary.
  • Prepare, analyze, and document polymer formulations and experimental results.
  • Capture and support intellectual property development.
  • Contribute to the development of polymer materials for diverse applications including environment, energy, and adhesives.

Requirements

  • Bac+8 or Bac+5 degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry and polymers.
  • Strong understanding of polymer structure-property relationships.
  • Understanding of cell/material interactions (Materials/Biology interface).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong research, experimentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an industrial research environment.
