Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of neuroscience tools to address business needs
- Collaborate with chemists and data scientists to organize data collection and build tools for flavor creation
- Monitor progress in neuroscience and chemoperception fields, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities
- Influence the generation of business-relevant projects both internally and with customers
- Execute and drive neuroscience and chemoperception research to generate high-quality data
- Analyze data using best practices and collaborate with technical partners to extract actionable insights
- Communicate and present scientific insights effectively to stakeholders, customers, and leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in neuroscience or chemoperception
- Master’s or PhD in Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology, Biology, Flavor Chemistry, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of physiological and brain scanning methods, including protocol design, data acquisition, and analysis
- Deep understanding of olfactory and gustatory functions and stimuli
- Familiarity with sensory discrimination and consumer research methods
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect science to product design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of quantitative sensory and consumer methodologies
- Experience with statistical analysis programs
- Additional language skills
