Chemistry Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day program execution within the Chemistry experiment team
• Maintain project plans, track milestones, and ensure agentic science programs are delivered
• Serve as the primary operational interface between Chemistry and platform partners (Automation, ML, Engineering)
• Translate scientific program goals into structured workstreams
• Run program rituals including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Partner with Chemistry domain leads to surface blockers, risks, and interdependencies
• Support the delivery of commercial contracts and ensure program commitments are well-scoped
• Contribute to capacity planning and resource coordination

Requirements

• 10+ years of program or project management experience in chemistry, pharmaceutical, or deep tech
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Track record of managing multiple concurrent programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Ability to coordinate across scientific and operational stakeholders
• Scientific fluency to understand Chemistry program goals
• Experience supporting commercial program delivery and working with external partners
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Early-stage start-up experience
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or Jira
• PMP, PgMP, or agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
