Chemistry Lecturer

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and general chemistry lectures and laboratories
• Manage additional teaching assignments in lower-division laboratories or courses as needed
• Potentially teach organic chemistry laboratories or upper-division biochemistry courses
• Participate in departmental meetings, collaborative activities, and faculty development
• Support the university's mission through the integration of faith and learning

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Demonstrated effectiveness in college-level teaching
• Personal commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning
• Ability to use course management systems, online homework systems, and remote clicker response systems
• Commitment to providing an equitable, just, and inclusive learning environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching organic chemistry laboratories
• Experience teaching upper-division biochemistry lectures or labs
