Chemistry and Biochemistry Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach a 24 load-credit load per year in person at the Arden Hills campus
• Deliver introductory chemistry or upper-division courses based on expertise
• Contribute to innovation in undergraduate chemistry education
• Lead and supervise student research projects (optional)
• Support departmental goals including recruiting, curricular reform, and assessment
• Integrate faith and learning within the academic environment

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely-related field
• Specialization in chemistry, with expertise in biochemistry or organic chemistry preferred
• Ability to teach undergraduate majors and non-majors
• Ability to lead undergraduate research programs
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Commitment to the Christian orientation and mission of the University

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the college level
