About the role
Responsibilities
- Build knowledge of paint and coatings chemistry and formulation
- Execute testing methods and quality control using statistics software
- Learn and build understanding of commercialization, product, industry, and segment knowledge
- Build expertise in project management and report out on results and findings
- Create and foster relationships with the global supply chain and gain knowledge of plant operations
- Build cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Operations, and Technical Services to execute innovation strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (must be completed by the start of the program)
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.8
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
- Willingness to relocate for the training experience and post-program position
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
- At least one year of work experience in a quality control/assurance lab or R&D
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting (work, extracurriculars, or military)
- At least one year of experience managing projects
